The CS205 coin sorter is a light duty coin sorter, counter & batcher, designed for use with the standard 8 UK sterling coin denominations only. The CS205 coin sorter is not capable of processing any foreign, damaged, commemorative or old UK coins.
The CS205 is a excellent budget coin sorter capable of counting, sorting and batching your coins, but please note that it is a light duty machine and we would recommend it is not used in commercial premises processing large volumes of coin. We do have other coin sorter capable of processing larger coin volumes and even ones that are capable of dealing with non-standard coin.
The recommended maximum use over a 12 month period on the CS205 is 100,000 coins, which averages out at about 8,000 coins per month. These coin sorters are sold with 'fair usage' warranties. So if a machine ordered with a 12 month warranty was returned after 3 months. It would be expected to have a total count of no greater than 24,000 coins. Likewise, a machine ordered with a 30 day warranty returned after two weeks would not be warranteed if the coin count was greater than 4,000 coins. These conditions are reflected in the very cheap prices available online.
