SHOP SHELVING DELIVERY
Due to the volume, weight, size & possible combinations of shelving components available our site can't always compute delivery costs with 100% accuracy.
When you check out please choose 'Shelving Estimate' as your delivery option & 'Shelving Quotation' as your payment method.
We can then check the order and confirm a competitive delivery price based on the weight and volume of the components coupled with your location.
Assuming you are happy with our quotation you can then pay us and we can process your order. Shelving orders are usually ready to dispatch within 2-3 working days of our receipt of payment.
We offer different delivery services on shelving items -
A man in a van: Dedicated Drivers with a mobile phone are best used for full sites or whenever deliveries are time critical. E.g. when shop fitters are on site & costs will be incurred if there is any delay. We charge extra for this service on a job by job basis depending on delivery location weight and volume of shelving.
Multiple Handling Pallet Services: Pallets are collected from multiple suppliers by a local member of the pallet service provider and taken to a communal hub. Equipment is then transported by other members from one hub to another until your kit arrives at a hub in the area of the final delivery address. A further member then collects pallets from the hub and delivers them to many sites in a pre-set sequence. You can secure an earlier slot in the pre-set sequence by paying a premium for pre-12.30 delivery but this is no guarantee save that you will be refunded the extra charge if the equipment does not arrive by 12.30. Pallets can be tracked but chasing deliveries makes no difference; Pallets arrive when they arrive....
We don't offer Parcel Deliveries on shelving items. This usually confuses people as we send most other items out by DPD or Royal Mail. Parcels may seem like a cheap option, but individual shelving components are manufactured from sheet metal panels & are very easily damaged however well wrapped. The low price and convenience of fast courier parcel delivery is often outweighed by items turning up on site unusable. We know this as we've tried it over the years. When items turn up damaged it means that the delivery & the item have to be paid for a second time causing further site delays and other additional costs to be incurred. We don't use parcel deliveries for shelving as we've been on site when damaged items have turned up and know the pain and hassle this can cause.
Please note that there is a minimum order value of £250 ex vat & delivery on all shelving orders. Once processed, shelving orders are usually delivered within 3-5 working days, this is due to the extra picking time and specialist hauliers used. If you have a particular delivery date requirement please tell us and we will accommodate where possible.
Our shop shelving is supplied in flat pack component form.
Please note that all shelving delivery services provided by Shopstuff UK Ltd are out sourced to transport companies. All clients of Shopstuff UK Ltd who use this service do so with the understanding that no claim can be entertained for late delivery, which may result in the increased expenditure by the purchaser. Any claims for damages must be reported to Shopstuff UK Ltd within 24 hours of the receipt of the goods. Any claims after the 24 hours cannot be submitted for claim approval. Deliveries signed for 'Unchecked' are treated as being received in good condition.
