Hardware Shop Tills
Hardware shop cash registers or EPoS till systems should be split into two different camps - scanning and non-scanning. Should you not require a scanning system then a cash register with lots of departments and possibly an audit roll would probably suffice for your hardware store. You will want the ability to issue a professional personalised, itemised receipt, which may explain your returns or refunds policy. The audit roll allows 'real-time' tracking back of the tills activity throughout the day.
Scanning tills can be assessed by the number of product lines they are able to store. A small hardware store may only stock 1000-1500 scanning lines - in which case the most basic scanning till system may suffice. However, larger stores may want to check the number of scanning lines they will evetually have as we have till systems capable of holding upto 65,000 scanning lines.
